Kent-Macpherson has a long standing client relationship with many First Nations communities and governments throughout B.C. and Canada-wide, and offer numerous professional services including: appraisal, leasing, valuation, rent reviews, planning and development consulting, treaty negotiations, and specific claims on First Nations lands. Our relationships continue to grow as our communities expand, increasing opportunities for deeper partnerships.

Understanding and respect of the aboriginal perspective is vital. Appreciating the value of First Nations history and diverse aboriginal culture, influences the way business is managed. Consideration for the significance of those opportunities that increase the well being of the First Nations community in a sustainable and environmentally sound way are key aspect to a healthy working relationship.

In addition to providing our expertise to the various First Nations communities, considerable time and effort is expended assisting individual Locatees in leasing and/or developing their lands and maximizing value. This includes assisting in the negotiation of long-term ground leases as well as joint venture and limited partnership agreements. Incorporated are Locatees and bands operating with and without powers granted under the Land Code as well as Locatees operating under the Constitution of the Westbank First Nation.
