OUR PROJECTS

WATERSCAPES AND MADISON PROJECTS DEPRECIATION REPORTS

Kent-Macpherson prepared Depreciation Reports for the Waterscapes and Madison Projects in Kelowna. A Depreciation Report, also known as a Reserve Fund Study is now legislated for all Strata Corporations in British Columbia. The purpose of this Report is to provide a long term plan for funding future repair/replacement and maintenance of common property and common assets. This benefits property owners and managers by maintaining the value of the overall property by contributing to a well-managed reserve fund providing a positive impact on value of the asset.

POPLAR GROVE WINERY

Kent-Macpherson worked with the owners of Poplar Grove Winery in developing their new winery in Naramata. We were involved in pre and post construction stages of the project. In 2011, they opened the doors to their new 9,500 square foot state of the art winery that overlooks Okanagan and Skaha Lakes and the City of Penticton. The new facility provides the winery with a spectacular tasting room, a restaurant, and new space to make their award winning wine. The contemporary design and natural stone and wood material used in the construction of the winery blends in with the surrounding landscape, but also takes advantage of the extraordinary views with floor to ceiling windows in the tasting room. The highly acclaimed Vanilla Pod restaurant opened in 2012 and offers seating inside around the fireplace or outside on the spacious patio overlooking the City and lakes. Not only does the 8 acre site offer views of the City and lakes, but is also planted with Cabernet Franc and Pinot Gris vines that are used in production.
